New Here?
“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
Romans 12:5
Whether you’re new to the area, returning to your faith, visiting from another parish, or simply curious — welcome. We’re so glad you’re here. At the Catholic Community of North Harbour, we want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive. Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

We are a warm, Augustinian parish community worshipping in two churches — St Kieran’s, Manly Vale and St Cecilia’s, Balgowlah. Our mission is simple: Encountering Christ in Scripture, Sacraments and Community.

If you’re new, we’d love to meet you. You’re warmly invited to join us for morning tea after the Sunday 9.30am Mass at St Kieran’s or after the Sunday 9am Mass at St Cecilia’s. It’s a relaxed way to say hello and get to know our parish family.

We celebrate Mass every weekend and throughout the week across our two churches. You’ll find a friendly community, beautiful liturgy, and a place to belong.

-
Parking: St Kieran’s has a dedicated parish carpark. At St Cecilia’s, parking is available on surrounding streets.
-
Families with children are warmly welcomed.
-
You don’t need to know when to stand or sit — just follow along.
-
If you’re returning after a long time, please know you’re very welcome — take things at your own pace.
-
Come as you are.
-
Stay for a chat afterwards — we love meeting new faces.

Our parish is served by the Order of St Augustine, a community of priests and brothers who live the Gospel through friendship, community, and interiority. The Augustinians have been part of the Northern Beaches for decades and continue to guide our parish with warmth and pastoral care.

Over the years, our parish has welcomed many Augustinians from around the world — including Pope Leo XIV, who visited North Harbour several times during his years as Prior General of the Order. His presence here is a joyful reminder that our local community is part of a much larger Augustinian family spread across the globe.

St Kieran’s Church, Manly Vale
A vibrant community with a strong family focus and close connection to St Kieran’s Catholic Primary School.

St Cecilia’s Church, Balgowlah
A welcoming community with deep roots in the local neighbourhood. St Paul’s College Junior Campus is located right next door, making St Cecilia’s a natural gathering place for many local families and students.
