Giving at North Harbour Parish

Your generosity helps our parish live its mission of prayer, service, and community. In the Diocese of Broken Bay, our regular giving is known as the First Fruits Offering — a way of returning to God a portion of the blessings we have received.

 

At North Harbour, your First Fruits Offering supports the Augustinians, the parish, and the wider ministries of the diocese. We are deeply grateful for every contribution.

First Collection 

The First Collection supports the Augustinian priests and brothers who serve our parish and the wider Province. This collection contributes to their living expenses, healthcare, and the support of friars in ministry and retirement.

Pastoral Works BB.png

Pastoral Works Broken Bay

The Pastoral Works Broken Bay (PWBB) appeal supports essential ministries across our diocese, including:

  • CatholicCare chaplaincies

  • hospital and aged‑care pastoral care

  • disability and inclusion programs

  • faith education in public schools

 

Donations to PWBB are tax‑deductible.

 

Each parish is given a PWBB quota to meet each year. If our parish does not reach this quota, the shortfall must be paid from parish funds. Your support helps us meet this responsibility while keeping parish resources focused on local ministry.

The Second Collection supports the day‑to‑day life of our parish:

  • pastoral programs

  • liturgical needs

  • parish staff

  • maintenance of our churches and facilities

As an Augustinian parish, we are committed to supporting the formation of future Augustinian priests and brothers. The Augustinian Formation Appeal helps fund the training, education, and spiritual formation of young men preparing for Augustinian life.

We are collecting 10c bottles and cans to help build a new Augustinian Formation House in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Every bottle helps — quite literally.
