Baptism of School-Aged Children

Children who are old enough to engage with their faith in a more active way are invited to prepare for Baptism through a simple, age‑appropriate process. This may include short preparation sessions, participation in the parish community, and involvement in our sacramental programs.

Our team will guide families step‑by‑step, ensuring children feel supported, welcomed, and ready to celebrate the sacrament with understanding and joy.

If your child is between the ages of 7-12 and you would like to enquire about Baptism, please contact the our Sacramental Coordinator on families@nhcatholic.org.au

Please note:
If your child aged 7-12 has younger siblings, the siblings do not have to attend the preparation session but are welcome to join their older brother or sister on their day of Baptism.
